Maria tem 25 anos e é fluminense, da cidade de São Gonçalo.
Ela trabalha em um escritório de uma grande empresa no centro do Rio. E assim como grande
parte dos moradores de sua cidade, para chegar ao trabalho no horário ela precisa sair bem cedo de casa e pegar dois ônibus. Às vezes ela prefere pegar a barca em Niterói, para evitar o engarrafamento que sempre se forma pela manhã na Ponte Rio-Niterói.
A volta para casa não é melhor. São, pelo menos, duas horas de trânsito.
Para se divertir Maria gosta de sair com suas amigas, ir à praia ou até mesmo ficar em casa e ver um bom filme.
Ela gosta de animais, mas diz que não quer ter nenhum, pois dá muito trabalho. E de trabalho ela já
está cheia!
No momento ela está aprendendo inglês e planeja fazer outros cursos para crescer na sua área de trabalho.
Três anos atrás ela conheceu o Carlos, através de uma amiga em comum. Eles namoram há dois anos e planejam se casar no ano que vem e se mudar para Niterói.

Maria is 25 years old and is fluminense, from the city of São Gonçalo.
She works in an office of a large company in downtown Rio. And like most residents of her city, to get to work on time she needs to leave the house very early and take two buses. Sometimes she prefers to take the ferry from Niterói, to avoid the traffic jam that always forms in the morning on the Rio-Niterói Bridge.
Coming home is no better. There are at least two hours of traffic.
For fun Maria likes to go out with her friends, go to the beach or even stay at home and watch a good movie.
She likes animals, but says she doesn’t want to have any as they take a lot of work. And with work she is already full!
She is currently learning English and plans to take other courses to grow in her field.
Three years ago she met Carlos through a mutual friend. They have been dating for two years and plan to get married next year and move to Niterói.
